Mr. Ben Perkasa Drajat, the Consul General of Indonesia in Guangzhou, and his delegation visited Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center.
On the afternoon of October 13, 2022, Mr. Ben Perkasa Drajat, Consul General of Indonesia in Guangzhou, Mr. Kurniawan Wibowo, Consul for Socio-Cultural Affairs, and their delegation visited Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center for an inspection and exchange. Professor Qian Chaonan, President of Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center, along with Assistant Directors Wang Baishi and Huang Chen, warmly welcomed the guests, accompanying them on a tour and participating in discussions.
The guests visited several departments of the hospital, gaining an in-depth understanding of the hospital’s characteristics in medical technology, clinical services, and humanistic care. As the first oncology hospital in South China to feature a proton therapy system, Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center has always been dedicated to building a highland of medical technology and medical humanities. The hospital adheres to a patient-centered service philosophy, providing high-level services to cancer patients through internationally standardized diagnostic and treatment processes.
After learning about the hospital’s overall operations, the Consul General expressed full appreciation for the hospital’s advanced medical equipment, rigorous medical standards, humanized service philosophy, and comfortable healthcare environment. He also expressed hope that Indonesian specialty hospitals could collaborate with Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center to serve cancer patients in Indonesia and surrounding regions, contributing to the advancement of cancer prevention and treatment in Southeast Asia.
Through this visit and exchange, both parties deepened their mutual understanding and strengthened their friendship. President Qian Chaonan expressed his gratitude for the Consul General’s attention, care, and support for the hospital's development and sincerely hoped for close cooperation with Indonesian counterparts to benefit more patients.
